When I was in college I could do no wrong.

When it is now I can do no right.

Don’t be who you were but be someone else.

You know what I am tired of living up to your expectations!

If I want to be unprofessional, goofy, loud and absolutely gaudy.

Will do.

If I want to be professional, quiet and demure.

Will do.

What I am going to stop doing is not watching a movie because this or that person doesn’t like it or it doesn’t fit in the narrative.

I am going to eat what I want and when I want and if I choose to never eat meat again that is my choice.

I am going to listen to music more often even when my family is around and I am going to sing regardless if they say I sound horrible.

I am going to wear what I like and if it makes me look like a princess I am good with it.

Stop telling me what to do!

I am through listening to people who gas light me and say they are not lying.

In the immortal words of 60’s war protesters, “HELL NO”
