the face of it
holds numbers
grabbing edges
circling around
only to repeat
twice a day
for the hands
indicate exactly
where the point
in the continuum
are aligning
suns and moons
in the sky
orbiting earth
regularly for
us to plan
our activities
as the clock
ticks slowly
