when protecting
the contents within
only to open slightly
while gliding
along the bottom surface

its entire self

suns and moons

us to plan
our activities

planks shaped
into an open
concave formation
broad in the back
and rounded
from the center
towards the front
able to divide
the water
along the journey
while within
its contours
left without
a cover
a few boards are
placed above the
floor used for seating
as the arms

these rhythmic
motions match
a wave rippling by
rowing all aboard
to a location
that fulfills
ones needs
