a gesture unbelievable
shocking really
to see beyond
complex mazes
obstacles really
teetering from
easy to hard
with walls
invisible to apparent
preventing knowledge
participation of events
for even these gestures
based upon empathy
seem hidden though wanted
regardless how small
or extremely bold
once discovered
they grow within them
the knowledge
that someone cares
which allows for
enormous amount
of compassion
to build within
not only for that
individual also
for all others
as wall of caution
protecting emotions
is brought down
