Trees surrounded
with underbrush
though deep inside
the forest center
branches make shelter
from sun, wind,
and drops of water
protecting the lot
void of all terror
a kind place to be
for you are never
alone shall the crisp air
guarantees to bring
moss forward
stunning all to see
columns of plenty
doubles as obstacles
along with landmarks
tall they stand
sturdy in their roots
spreading their seed
evolved from companionship
of the world around
the woods
lasting storms
of extreme weather
their duplicity, strength
enhance endurance
created within the trees
