focus turns to one
anger boils

unable to see the snapshot
showing the truth
unwelcome in this way
forever barred
plans canceled
caring remains

What is wrong?
insights explained
misunderstandings cleared
apologies given
come and see
revealing the truth
focus expanded to all
progression actualizes
emotions solidified
bringing moments of happiness

Away
A mind can play tricks
you may see only what you want
most pain is avoided
unless that is all you know
then it becomes a sadistic comfort
does it have to stay this way?
Good rolls around
you try and hold its existence
quickly it passes though
it was just enough
to see the misfortune you lived.
There is no going back
nor immersion of its surroundings
just the motions guiding the way
slowly gathering
pieces, materials, resources, knowledge
solidifying a base
sturdy with positive relationships
supporting initializing
the momentum of growth
outlining the course for the future.

Am I helping the environment?

Can I pay the bills?
I don’t know if this is a good idea?

Am I a good son/daughter/parent, etc?
Is this presentation good?
I hope they like the present?
Is it the right color?
Do I pray enough?
Did I offend them?
Should I bring….?
What’s that noise?
Will the president help our country?
Did I turn off the stove?
Does my boss like me?
Will this medicine make me sick or die?
Am I boring?
Did I get that right?
What if my identity gets stolen?
Did I make a good impression?
