In Memorandom

Standard

every persons past
represents a being
that helped create
a community
this one you are
living within
today and everyday
maybe personal friendship
was not developed
though that person
was important
as we all are
for each soul
gives vitality
to our daily lives
remembering those
unknown and known
as they nurtured
who you are

Clowns

Standard

with a painted face
exaggerating facial features
dependent on the look
wanted to portray
whether sad happy
or outright hilarious
the intended message
is to lift peoples spirit
in the most
slapstick fake persona
way of the clown

Relate

Standard

each action
every word
stays as long as
its importance
though may not
directly relate to
current activities
for appearances
only side step
actualities of
stories to be told
about people
across lands
they didn’t even
know were interesting
at all
for boring
as realities maybe
everybody wants
to relate

Reciprocal

Standard

around swirling around
we move
within boundaries
of a city
or simply
routines of activities
seeing familiar individuals
we communicate amongst
usually finding
it is all reciprocal
start there
stop here
maybe link others
within the moment
for the most part
expand your mind
widen your world
bring inclusiveness
in the form
of interactions building
accepting communities

Gestures

Standard

a gesture unbelievable
shocking really
to see beyond
complex mazes
obstacles really
teetering from
easy to hard
with walls
invisible to apparent
preventing knowledge
participation of events
for even these gestures
based upon empathy
seem hidden though wanted
regardless how small
or extremely bold
once discovered
they grow within them
the knowledge
that someone cares
which allows for
enormous amount
of compassion
to build within
not only for that
individual also
for all others
as wall of caution
protecting emotions
is brought down

A Tourist

Standard

it doesn’t matter
where you go
or what occurs
there are people
traveling to and fro
away from homes
a short trip
giving relaxation
from constant stress
of daily activities
a break in schedules
to visit
another place
somewhere known
or unknown
the goal is the same
the site looks
interesting, historical
important to see
keep an itinerary
of events
throughout the day
for some to see are
based on themes of
availability, location
continuously asking
questions answered
in a pamphlets glory
revealing suggestions
by the end you have
gotten to know
you are no longer
a tourist
