Still sitting in đź’©?
Why?
-Jennie Nawrocki
When I was going through school my greatest supporter was my mother.
She did so much to ensure I made it to college.
I was the only one of her 5 children that went and graduated from a 4 year University.
My father wasn’t in my life much but I heard that he thought I was doing well then too.
My love for them remains.
Even after I have lost everything and it is a stretch for them to find ways to be proud of me.
Neither of us likes where my life is heading.
So we argue about how to get back to some semblance of good if not better.
Things are manipulated behind the scenes I hate.
I know they want the best for me and I want the best for them.
But I am at the stage where I feel any activity or action I take would soon go down the drain.
As I have been told I can do nothing and I certainly can’t get praise for it even if I did well.
“Even if you are right Jennie, you will always be wrong.” -bosses living statement
So my quandary is what do I do, if you can never be proud of me?
What do I do now if no one can be proud of me?
So I think back and replay any compliment I was ever given before.
And remember everything I learned I learned in kindergarten.
And say thank you mom and dad for not calling me a degenerate disgusting piece of đź’©
Even if the rest of the world does.

my vanity
Is huge
For deciding
The perfect ten
I made myself
a zero
Beauty is personality.
And mine
Became
Zero
So without judgement
You have more beauty
Then I ever will
-Jennie Nawrocki
Walking through
The bramble
Branches and leaves
Brushing me
Their inhabitants
Flying from disruption
Hearing the
Rush of water
In the distance
Follow the sound
Soon a path appeared
Somewhat unnoticeable
You take it
Knowing
Those that
Lives here
Made the
Easiest path
For themselves
And for the land
For they required
Water and food
And the protection
From the canopy
The land gave
Luxury is in the land
Untouchable
So if you desire
To mess up undeveloped land
You will run out of land
Build up
Restore abandoned
For it is only trash
Because you left it
Unmaintained

Finding love
Maybe easy
Maybe hard
But certainly
Worth it
-Jennie Nawrocki
Some say
They get to choose
The love of my life
But no
My heart
And brain
chooses
The one that
Comforts me
Supports
Laughs with me
Has commonalities
Learns
Listens
Challenges in a good way
But most of all
Gives me freedom
When asked
But isn’t annoyed
By my closeness
You know who you are
-Jennie Nawrocki
Many friends
And family
Received my words
Miss you
Love you
But my opinions
Aren’t settling
Lost
You don’t want to change
I don’t want to change
We love
Each other right
Why can’t we
Respect our difference
Why is it
You must be on my side
One mind isn’t healthy
One thought isn’t inclusive
Understand I won’t change you
you don’t change me
Then we won’t
Be stale and distant
Look there is damage
It can’t be ignored
We must fix it together
Or we both don’t have
A home
Better is family
And friends
Sans tension
Being safe isn’t intrusive
Providing support isn’t intrusive
Maintaining roads and bridges
Isn’t intrusive
Stopping someone’s choice is
So respect differences
We all have somewhere to be
And someone to love
-Jennie Nawrocki
Asking what are you going to?
Is the same as asking are you going to vote?
Any special plans coming up?
It gets people thinking about the future?
For your homework?
Include activism and volunteering?
Why?
A well rounded person invests and is immersed in their community.
Studies prove you take care of your community curbside appeal increases.
Crime rates decrease
So make this world breatheable
Your environment is just as important as cultivating a relationship with the baristas. Or bartender.
Reusable and refillable items are tantamount just as the knowledge of the name of the person you see everyday.
If you care enough to give extra greetings or tips during the holidays than you should care enough about their lives outside of orders only please.
Some baggage is good like cultivating positive relationships is productive
The only thing truly disposable is what comes out of your butt or urethra.
However even then fertilizers have been known to be useful.
As a reminder

She lives here and so do you!

Don’t forget
You are you
And if you
Find yourself
As a chocolate bar
At least be
Premium top shelf
Chocolate
Yum!

May I see
A positive future
May a live
A positive future
May it be
A positive future
See
Live
Be
Now
It is not a dream
Not a goal
It just is
A positive future
