slendering to

one thing

spinning on

the smooth

surface beneath

keeping still

as their varied

backgrounds and

friendly personalities

gather in

a central place

to intermix

or relax

in a common area

they all make

the day, the space

more enjoyable

than ever before

it glides
with ease along
invisible molecules
for them
gravity is
an obstacle
in which they
flap their wings
to overcome
though as much
as the sky
enables their flights
they soon find
a need to relax
their hollow bones
on any surface
around that
supports their
talons wide spread

hearing the crowd
murmur their conversations
the room is filled
discussing events
past, present, and future
combined they
create an environment
strong cohesiveness
never before
connected with others
as they are
at this moment
whether clapping
or expressing
all emotion
together they have
shared experiences
through common activities
in which
are enjoyed
as only that
crowd was able

with a ball
spherical and
geometrically decorated
then the opponents
arrive equal
in numbers
each side prepared
practiced with
precision they
bring well
seasoned players
to have more time
when the ball
starts to
roll and fly
from person
to person
bouncing from
limbs chest and head
positions of the body
morph as each
pass is made
moving from one
side to the next
its tossed until
finally it reaches
the heavily
guarded net
once it does
receiving points
depending on
colors worn
the team
soon wins
