Therefore social media has the same responsibility because if some TikTok influencer decides to say put fluoride in the water so as to have a mini mouthwash every time you drink water. Then people might add extra mouthwash to drinking water.

But if that same influencer decided to say that the word shoe meant dance in a circle 50 times you might get lots of reports of people throwing up.

We have a responsibility to put out the right information just as gps has the responsibility to make sure we get the right directions.

You don’t tell your children touch the fan, you give them the right information.

Literally the emergency responders had to reteach a nation to say 9-1-1 because some remembered it as 9-11 and then asked when under the stress of an emergency where is the 11 button?

What you say has importance and there should be some content not allowed on social media for safety reasons.
