An Email to The Actors Theatre Workshop

Standard

Yes I know it doesn’t look good, I still have to work on my technical skills, but my last email was not complete, sorry for the inconvenience.  Here it is in its entirety.

Hello,

Many years ago we had a huge discussion about how to proceed and our views were entirely different and because of that you let me go.

I was always apologetic that we didn’t have the same perspective on the future and how life should be.  I have noticed your influence but I still see you don’t have true loyalty, especially from Putin or Xi.

A loyal person is someone who even subconsciously will follow you without force, pressure either financially, physically or mentally.  Right now this is what the loyalty looks like

But true loyalty and freedom is
Woodstock ‘69, March on Washington’63, and the Sermon on the Mount.  These events didn’t have gatekeepers, walls or dress codes.

They went because they were loyal to a cause to a belief that the leader really was going to make everything better, not just for the chosen ones or the privileged but for all humans and people alike. They believed life could better without autocracy because there were no boundaries and there was no violence because the leaders modeled peace. Jesus, musicians and Martin Luther King only healed through miracles of faith, not because the followers feared Jesus.

Jesus knew one of his followers would betray and deny him but he still embraced and sat down and ate with them at the last supper.

Can you honestly say you have enough numbers and loyalty that you control Xi, Putin and the Middle East? Could you just walk and not have to orchestrate the crowd or media but know you have all the loyalty in the world.

You spoke a lot about defeating racism and fascism but can you go on the street or subway without having coordinated the traffic or telling someone what to say.  You talk lots about saving the poor homeless children but would Trump hold a dinner at the White House with just poor underprivileged youth like you? Not just once a year but regularly? Would Putin and Xi? Would the Sheiks and Sultans of the Middle East do the same.

There were no boundaries and no huge media campaigns the success of the March on Washington, Woodstock’69 and the Sermon on the Mount, succeeded because safety and loyalty was implied and no one was turned away.  The leaders saw the value of every person not just the talented or chosen. They also weren’t there to make the stock market increase.  They wanted peace by not demanding loyalty but offering loyalty without expectation of return. Those leaders walked and were followed because they embraced peace, freedom and giving.

I will gladly follow the leader that does that and so far Trump isn’t it.

Sincerely,
Jennifer Nawrocki
